Yulia Grishina


I am a PhD student in the Applied CL Discourse Research Lab.

I was born in Moscow, Russia, where I received my diploma in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics from Moscow State University in 2013. Currently I hold a doctoral scholarship from Friedrich-Wingert foundation, and before I had a scholarship from Collaborative Research Centre (SFB) 632 Information Structure. I am a member of TextLink: Structuring Discourse in Multilingual Europe, and I completed a short-term scientific mission within Anders Soegaard’s group at the University of Copenhagen. In 2016, I was the Student Volunteer Coordinator at ACL in Berlin.

I am organising a shared task on projecting coreference across languages, as a part of CORBON workshop at EACL 2017.

Research Interests: (multilingual) coreference | annotation projection | low-resourced languages
